Before you begin

Tips for using our Sessions

A few simple habits that help every guided session land. Skim them once before you start your Plan.

  • Never listen while driving, operating machinery, or anywhere drifting off could put you at risk.

  • Not recommended if you have epilepsy — if you have epilepsy or another medical or mental-health condition, talk to your doctor before you begin.

  • Where you can, skip caffeine and exercise for 2–3 hours before listening, so your body can settle.

  • Visit the bathroom before you settle in.

  • It's perfectly fine to fall asleep during a session — your mind stays receptive to the suggestions.

  • Evenings or just before bed often work best, when you're most open to relaxation — but pick the time that suits your schedule.

  • Wear comfortable clothing.

  • Find a quiet, comfortable place where you won't be disturbed — lie back on a sofa or bed, or sit upright with your head supported.

  • Put your phone on silent or airplane mode.

  • Use headphones (earphones, a headset, or AirPods) for the most immersive sound.

  • Listen to each session for 7–10 days in a row for the best results, unless your Plan says otherwise.

  • As each session begins, settle and follow the words — the gentle repetition of phrases and cues guides you into deep relaxation.
